Greek Paddles For Fraternities and Sororities
If you were a member of a Greek organization or know someone who has, or even movies with fraternities in them could be seen watching Greek pallets. There is only one part of the organization, and most of them have a new paddle for every year or every class of promises, that through the “house” comes from. Pallets are usually in an important part of the brotherhood or sisterhood of the main house, giving all of those considered to be displayed. While there is usually a paddle for each class of pledges or promises every year in operation, the fraternity are invited to make their own.
For example, if you wanted to Tau Kappa Epsilon have to join before a full member of the organization, are making their own paddle. This is something that most groups require that you put much time and thought into, and often the result is a part of what select for inclusion in the group. Greek paddles are similar to rowing a boat, in fact, if you so you could start with an ore boat that you decorate as you wish it to.
